Sheet to Org Chart use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This Privacy Policy explains how Sheet to Org Chart handles information when you use our Google Workspace add-on.

Information We Access

Sheet to Org Chart may access Google account, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and related Google Workspace information only as needed to provide the add-on's functionality. The exact information depends on the permissions you approve when installing or using the add-on.

The add-on may read and update the current spreadsheet, including the Employees sheet used for employee names, email addresses, avatar URLs, titles, departments, manager emails, locations, notes, and optional display columns. It may create or replace generated chart images in the spreadsheet and save PNG chart files to Google Drive when you request that action.

If billing features are enabled, the add-on may use your Google account email address to check subscription status, create a checkout session, or open a billing portal. If avatar upload is enabled, uploaded avatar images may be transferred to the configured image hosting storage so the chart can display them.

How We Use Information

We use information received from Google APIs to operate Sheet to Org Chart, read employee chart data from your spreadsheet, generate org chart output, save or insert chart images when requested, provide support, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit-worthiness, lending, resale, data brokerage, or training generalized AI models.

Disclosure Data and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your disclosure data, Google user data, or information received from Google APIs with third parties for advertising, marketing, or unrelated purposes.

We do not transfer Google user data to any third-party app except where necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with applicable law, protect against abuse, or as otherwise permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the add-on, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain service integrity. You may uninstall the add-on or contact us to request deletion of data associated with your use of Sheet to Org Chart.

Spreadsheet data remains in your Google Sheets file. Generated PNG files saved to Drive remain in your Google Drive until you delete them. Add-on configuration and chart metadata may be stored in the spreadsheet or related Apps Script properties to keep your chart settings available.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information handled by the add-on. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to limit access and reduce risk.

Your Choices

You can review and revoke Google account permissions through your Google Account security settings. You can also stop using Sheet to Org Chart or uninstall the add-on at any time.
